Will we talk about pricing or just design ideas?
We’ll review the financials again, but at a high level — simply to confirm whether we’ve come in under, over, or right on target with the preliminary investment discussed during the Concept Design phase.
We won’t go line by line through every item (unless there’s been a significant change worth noting). By this stage, the overall investment has already been reviewed and agreed upon, so this meeting allows us to focus more on the exciting part — the design itself.
Are we going to see all the furniture, finishes, and materials today?
The design presentation will contain everything related to your design, building off the approved of concept design. Some products will be very familiar to you for this reason. We try to include as many samples and material swatches but some smaller products such as throw pillows may not be available to see and touch.
Will we be able to make changes after the presentation?
Absolutely! Once we’re done presenting the design to you, we’ll send you a form to complete guiding you through the revision process, very similar to the process of the concept design. We’ll make any necessary re-selections to the materials to ensure it’s to your liking.
Will we be able to take the presentation materials home with us?
We’ll allow you to take home the samples for 7 days while you’re reviewing and providing feedback. We find this helps clients be more tangible with feedback rather than recalling on memory of a very busy day! We’ll then come collect the materials. Some will return to our sample library and others will be included in your construction binder for reference.
